i think ive given up on this blog, theres about 3 people following it, all of which i doubt look at it, and who ive asked to follow it.

mixing metals

i've noticed people in my life chosing to wear either gold or silver jewelry. i realise it's against the rules to mix them, but it can be done! look for pieces that are a subtle blend of the two, statement pieces will look messy and this is when the look will be against the rules!

latest purchase

i realise that they are probably not a nessecity, but how cute are they! i bought these the other day, after a long few hours at work. i thought id treat myself:) im wearing them this weekend, with a black skirt, a green loose flowy shirt (which im yet to buy) and some red lipstick <3 its such a military look, but i love it!

who doesnt love the classic stylings of lauren conrad? everything she wears works, and her books on styling and makeup are what have helped me with most of the posts in this blog (but shh). i love styling too, of course. her tips will help anyone though, at the moment im reading 'style.' it gives you the basic tips and essentials you will need, or you could just continue reading my blog :)

LBD

the detail in this dress is exquisite, it makes it so much more elegant, rather than without it, making it look cheap. the style i also love, the sweetheart shape i one of my favourite necklines, i coudlnt say why though.
black is such an elegant colour aswell, another reason why i love this dress. everyone should have a little black dress, its an essential! this dress however, i wouldnt say should be classified as one of the essentials, as gorgeous as it is, your LBD should be able to dress-up or down, the same with any of your essentials!

i absolutely adore their style. they are both so similar and different.i like how they create their own style. everything has its own twist, its not just the same old thing that everyone is wearing. they manage to make everything look good, which makes me what it more! id probably own everything they did if i had the money. some people just dont realise how lucky they are! i dont copy what celebrities wear very often, because i just dont have the same body shape and features as them, but when it comes to mary-kate and ashley, who doesnt?!?!

my life

i hope you can all understand why shop iss my life.. it tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about fashion; day-to-day, season-to-season, it even tells you how to wear one of your favourite peices youve been unsure about, like leopard print tights. and when you read it, you feel refreshed, like your style has been completely renewed when the rest of the world have barely caught up..

The Blazer..

A blazer is not a statement piece, but it is another investment piece. Not just for women either, but also men! It goes with almost anything. I'd say that some of the things it doesnt go with, are gowns (obviously), cargo pants (i strongly dislike them) and things with a fancy back (again, fairl\y obvious). But they are great, in any colour. Black and cream are probably more preferred colours because they go with alot more, but if you believe you have alot that would go with another colour, don't hesitate!

I don't know what it is about this shirt that makes me love it so much. Maybe it's the design, the low back and scooping front line, or even the interesting pattern design. What I do know, is I love that is can be dressed up or down. A pair of bathers and denim shorts, and you've got perfect beach attire, or team it with a black skirt, some gold pumps and a black and white clutch, and you have something to wear on a night out. SHirts similar to these are great for alot of this, a great investment piece.
